The Fire Department will tell you that if you are burning wood in your fireplace, the chimneys should be inspected and cleaned at least once a year. The resins and gases produced by a smoldering fire don't burn off, but go up the chimney — where they condense into creosote and present a fire hazard. If the creosote were to catch fire, your chimney could catch fire, too.

Suction is placed in the fireplace to collect the soot & creosote. The chimney is cleaned with air pressure and the skipper. The ash pit is cleaned out as well. Wood fireplaces can not be used 72 hours prior to cleaning.

NO MESS IN YOUR HOME!

We clean natural gas fireplaces. Cleaning includes burners and glass. The glass covering is cleaned with a ceramic based glass cleaner. If you are using your gas fireplace frequently, cleaning will ensure there is no build-up of carbon and will increase the efficiency of the burners. Also, the film that can buildup on the glass covering can be extremely difficult to remove over extended periods. Regular cleanings will prevent a buildup of film produced from using the appliance.
