The Fire Department will tell you that if you are burning wood in your fireplace, the chimneys should be inspected and cleaned at least once a year. The resins and gases produced by a smoldering fire don't burn off, but go up the chimney — where they condense into creosote and present a fire hazard. If the creosote were to catch fire, your chimney could catch fire, too.

In the traditional manner of a chimney sweep, long handled steel brushes are forced down the chimney from the roof. These brushes loosen the creosote and brush it down to our suction (which has been placed in your fireplace). No mess, no fuss, as the brushes forced the loosened creosote to our suction, it is taken directly out to our truck. Please allow at least 72 hours between your last fire and a chimney cleaning, as the ashes can stay hot for days.

NO MESS IN YOUR HOME!

We clean natural gas fireplaces. Cleaning includes burners and glass. The glass covering is cleaned with a ceramic based glass cleaner. If you are using your gas fireplace frequently, cleaning will ensure there is no build-up of carbon and will increase the efficiency of the burners. Also, the film that can buildup on the glass covering can be extremely difficult to remove over extended periods. Regular cleanings will prevent a buildup of film produced from using the appliance.
